Who we are
STOA Europe Partners is operated by STOA Digital Solutions LLC ("STOA", "we", "us"), 530 Foster St, Unit 45, Durham, NC 27701, USA. STOA decides how and why your personal data is used. Contact: contact@stoaeuropepartners.com.
What we collect
- What you send through our contact form: name, company, role, work email, phone (optional), website, sector, what you sell, how you sell, contact from European buyers, countries of interest, how you heard about us, and your message.
- What you share with us in emails, calls and meetings.
- If you become a client: the product, price, sales and company information you give us for your assessment.
- Technical data from your visit: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects the pages you view, how you reached the site, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. When you send the contact form, we also keep the page you sent it from, your browser type, and a coded version of your IP address that cannot be read back. See Cookies and analytics below.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not send it.
Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and decide with you if our service fits.
- To deliver the Europe Entry Assessment and any other service you agree to.
- To keep a record of our business relationship.
- To send you a report or note that relates to our work together. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
Legal bases for visitors in the EU and UK
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on: steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself; our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and running our business; your consent, where we ask for it; and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Bernardo Abril, our partner in Valencia, Spain, when he works on your inquiry or assessment.
- Service providers that host our website, email and files, under contract: Cloudflare (website hosting, security, spam protection and the database that stores contact form messages, in the United States), Google (Google Analytics and Google Search Console), OpenSEO (search performance reports, which read our Google Analytics data), and our email provider.
- Distributors, agencies or partners in Europe, only with your permission.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
We work in the United States and in Spain, so your data may move between them. Our service providers may process it in the United States.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to work: 24 months after our last contact. Our website deletes contact form messages automatically after 24 months. Client records: 7 years after our work together ends, or longer when the law requires it. Google Analytics data: 14 months.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, for example which pages they read. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that last up to 13 months.
- We ask first. Google Analytics does not load until you select Accept Analytics. If you select Decline, no analytics cookies are set.
- You can change your mind. Select Cookie Settings at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, we treat it as a no and keep analytics off.
- No advertising. We turn off Google's advertising features. We do not use cookies for advertising.
We store your cookie choice in your browser, not in a cookie. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to stop spam; it checks technical signals from your browser and is not used for advertising. Google Search Console and OpenSEO report on how the site appears in search results; they set no cookies on this site.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it for a purpose, or send you a copy. In the EU and UK you can also object to processing and complain to your data protection authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. Your privacy rights in the US
Depending on the state you live in, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we collect, use and share, and give you a copy;
- correct it or delete it;
- stop selling or sharing it, or using it for targeted advertising.
We do not sell your personal data, share it for targeted advertising, or use it to make automated decisions with legal effects. We do not collect sensitive personal data on purpose. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
To make a request, email contact@stoaeuropepartners.com. We will verify your request with the details you gave us. You can use an authorized agent. We will not treat you differently for using your rights. If we decline your request, reply to our answer to appeal, and we will review it.
Security, children and changes
Security. Only people who need your data can access it, and our providers use standard security controls. No system is fully secure.
Children. Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes. We update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the last change.
